Extended Care

spanish immersion

This curriculum-based program is conducted entirely in Spanish on Mondays & Wednesdays from 12 - 3pm. Parents of second and third year students (typically aged 3 -5) enrolled in our preschool program may sign up their children to participate on a quarterly basis.

Children learn and sing songs in Spanish, learn to count and use conversational phrases with teachers and each other, and immerse themselves in various Latinx art projects in order to steep in cultural learning. This program is mean to be foundational in providing a lifelong love and appreciation for different languages and cultures.

extended day

Extended day provides care for children on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12 - 3pm. Parents who have enrolled in our preschool program may sign up their children to participate in extended day on a monthly basis as long as their child no longer needs a midday nap. First year preschoolers (typically aged 2-3) require approval from our director in order to enroll; spots are sometimes limited.

The program includes extended time for self-directed rest, free play, and art projects. Kids also eat lunch and have a snack at the end of the day. This provides extra opportunity for kids to bond and play together in a less structured setting.
